Tuesday Evening
"Knowing the God who Serves - Seeks and Saves Us"
Luke 19:1-10

Observations:
Zaccheus had great desire to see Jesus.
Zaccheus received much more than he expected.
Zaccheus was very undeserving of Christ’s service.
Zaccheus was visibly changed by Christ.
This story is not just about Zaccheus.

We can respond correctly to God when we apply the
principles from this story to our own life.

1. Knowing Jesus is desirable.
2. Jesus offers us much more than we expect.
a. forgiveness of sin.
b. acceptance by God.
c. a new life.
d. eternity in heaven.
3. We don’t deserve any of it.
4. A relationship with Jesus Christ will result in an internal change that can be seen by all.

Response
1. Admit the truth of your sin.
2. Acknowledge Jesus as Savior.
a. He is.
b. I need Him.
3. Make full use of your new life.
